International Monetary Fund lowers world economic growth forecast, raises China growth forecast.

ME News, July 8 (UTC+8), the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released an update to its World Economic Outlook report, lowering the 2026 world economic growth forecast by 0.1 percentage points to 3%, and raising China's economic growth forecast by 0.2 percentage points to 4.6%. The report also lowered the advanced economies growth forecast by 0.1 percentage points to 1.7%, and the emerging market and developing economies growth forecast by 0.1 percentage points to 3.8%.
