#SpaceXQuietPeriodEnds

SpaceX is attracting the attention of Wall Street-But is the optimism already discounted in the price? Now that the IPO quiet period is over, we finally know what major investment banks think of SpaceX. Early reports of the company have been extremely bullish, with some analysts noting significant growth potential in the company's leading position in the space, satellite internet, and AI infrastructure industries.

It's understandable why there's excitement.

Few companies operate in so many rapid-growth industries at once. Space launches, global internet access, defense, and AI have huge long-term potential, and SpaceX is at the intersection of all these areas. However, one thing I always remind myself is that a great company doesn't automatically make a great investment at any price. As expectations become extremely high, the room for disappointment becomes very small.

That's why I also listen to minority opinions.

Pessimism about SpaceX isn't saying the company isn't good, but whether its current value assumes years of future success. This is not the first time we have seen such phenomena in rapid-growth companies. Strong businesses can still experience severe declines if investors expect perfection.

The market doesn't just reward good performance; it rewards performance that surpasses high expectations. More generally, I believe the biggest message is that capital is still flowing toward innovation. Whether it's AI, space, advanced chips, or cryptocurrency infrastructure, investors are still willing to pay a premium for companies that shape the future.

I personally prefer to focus on the long-term development rather than the short-term price targets.

If SpaceX can maintain high performance in multiple industries, the valuation debate today will appear very different in a few years. However, both patience and reasonable expectations will be as important as optimism. The best investment is not always the company that everyone agrees is wonderful; rather, it's when you buy this company when expectations are more reasonable. Do you think SpaceX still has significant room for growth from the current level, or has most of its future growth been factored into the market price?
