Instead of simply supporting your chosen side to victory, you can observe live market movements, contrast the sentiments of the broader trading public, and note where the “smart money” is flowing. The odds may begin to move in one direction before any of the “hot” takes hit the press!

Right now, my tip is one of the main market favourites, however, I’m not quite as confident about them as I was in the early stages of the tournament.

We’ve seen all remaining candidates emerge with their heads held high and prove they belong there, which goes some way to explaining the price discrepancies between teams that seem, on paper, equally well-matched. In fact, an early injury or a silly red card to a star player can completely alter the destination of the World Cup! For the fans of both the beautiful game and prediction markets, this is probably the best part of the World Cup; there is something riding on every match and everything that goes on during those 90 minutes.
