- *EMA 50/200*: ETH price is still below the orange EMA 200 line. As long as it's below, the larger trend remains bearish. EMA 50 also holds from above = becomes dynamic resistance.
- *Price structure*: From high to low, it keeps making lower highs. No higher low yet to confirm a reversal. The area is currently testing horizontal support. If it breaks, the target is the lower demand zone.
- *RSI + MACD*: RSI just exited oversold, but hasn't crossed 50 yet. MACD histogram is starting to thin red. There is potential for a small bullish divergence if the next low is higher than the previous RSI low.
*2. On-chain data & ecosystem from image 2*
- *ETH/BTC ratio*: Still weak. ETH is lagging behind BTC. Ratio rising = signal for altcoin season/ETH season. Not yet now.
- *Staking ratio*: The 27%+ figure in the image means a lot of ETH is locked in staking. Circulating supply decreases = good for long term, but short term has little impact on price.
- *Gas fee*: 7.78 gwei is relatively cheap. Chain activity is quiet = low transaction demand. If gas rises and price rises together, there is usually a new narrative/usage.
- *Net exchange flow*: If netflow is negative = ETH moves out of exchanges to wallets. Similar to BTC, a sign of holder accumulation.
*Quick conclusion*
ETH vs BTC still underperform. Technical: holding at support = there is a chance of a bounce to EMA 50. Support breaks = continued correction. Fundamentals: high staking + increasingly deflationary supply is positive long term, but needs a new demand catalyst for the price to move.
