No matter what, shorting is not as satisfying as going long, because with shorting, a big whale might suddenly appear and swallow up all your chips, leaving nothing left. Going long doesn't have that worry, though you might still get squeezed. Basically, all speculative assets eventually get squeezed, it's just a matter of at what price.
