#广场预测世界杯赢40000U Belgium beat the United States 4-1 to advance to the quarterfinals, with the hosts eliminated one and all; Trump once said: If Belgium wins, there’s foul play.
In a just-concluded Round of 16 match at the USA-Canada-Mexico World Cup, Belgium defeated the United States 4-1 to advance to the quarterfinals. The US forward Balogun, who was “resurrected after a red card,” started but was unable to save his team. All three host teams were knocked out in this round of the knockout stage.
In the first half, Belgium’s forward De Ketelaere scored twice, while the US’s Tillman netted a free kick. In the second half, Vanaaken took advantage of a mistake by the US goalkeeper coming off his line to score, and Lukaku added another goal in stoppage time to seal the win for Belgium. By then, all three host teams—United States, Mexico, and Canada—had lost in the Round of 16. Belgium will face Spain in the quarterfinals.
Balogun, the US’s top scorer who received a red card in the Round of 16, was handed a one-match ban to be served on a deferred basis for one year by FIFA. This made him the first player since the 1970 World Cup introduced the red-and-yellow card rules to be able to keep playing in his team’s next World Cup match after receiving a red card. In the Round of 16 against Belgium, Balogun, “resurrected after a red card,” started, but failed to score.
Belgian goalkeeper Courtois became the first Belgian player to reach 20 World Cup appearances. At 34 years old, he became the third goalkeeper in World Cup history to reach 20 appearances, after Neuer and Lloris.

Balogun, the US's top scorer who received a red card in the round of 16, was granted a one-year suspended ban by FIFA for a one-match suspension. This makes him the first player since the introduction of red and yellow cards at the 1970 World Cup to continue playing in his team's next World Cup match despite receiving a red card.
