ME AI News, at today's press conference for the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance, a relevant official from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that currently, the AI industry continues to grow, "AI + Manufacturing" is deepening, and the AI ecosystem is constantly optimizing. According to estimates, in 2025, China's core AI industry scale exceeded 1.2 trillion yuan. Large models, intelligent agents, and AI chips are accelerating iteration, and this year, the annual production of complete humanoid robots is expected to exceed 100k units. As of now, China has developed nearly 200 key standards in the AI field. Chinese enterprises are actively embracing the open-source paradigm, with large model downloads ranking first globally.
