Previously, Base had set the activation time for the B20 token format at 2:00 AM on June 27, but it was subsequently postponed due to stability issues. B20 is Base's native token format, designed to enhance user experience through faster, lower-cost, and more standardized settlement mechanisms, enabling global financial assets to exist as programmable capital on Base and gain on-chain composability.
