✅ PI NETWORK: Why PCT Takes a "Slow and Steady" Approach to DEX and Smart Contracts ⚖️🛡️Sharing some personal thoughts. Don't criticize if you disagree.

If you're one of those wondering, "When will PiDEX go live?" please take a moment to read this.

From the start, the Pi Core Team has maintained a clear stance: prioritize legal compliance and build real utility, rather than rushing into speculation. This isn't being slow—it's being smart.

→ 1. No need to rush complex DEX and smart contracts right now
Most dApps currently being built on Pi focus on solving real needs: buying goods, exchanging services, and making everyday payments.

When users can already buy bread, pay utility bills, or restock their businesses with Pi, forcing complex DEX features at this stage only adds unnecessary technical burden. More importantly, it easily makes Pi a target for global financial regulators.

→ 2. Waiting for the "legal shield"—CLARITY Act and major regulations
PCT has a top-notch legal advisory team. They refuse to prematurely launch financial features while the regulatory framework remains unclear.

Once the CLARITY Act, along with rules for stablecoins and digital assets, takes effect, Pi will be one of the few fully compliant and legal projects. This stands in stark contrast to projects that rush to launch just to dump their tokens.

→ 3. Utility first—real use cases before financial tools
PCT is proving a different path:
• Not artificially inflating prices through speculative DeFi.
• Focusing on creating real demand: making Pi function like real money in daily life.

When people are already used to using Pi as currency, smart contracts and DeFi become tools for enhancing efficiency, not just tools for speculation.

→ 4. The community needs a mindset shift
Instead of asking every day, "When will mainnet launch? When will DEX launch?" we should focus on building and using real-world applications.

Patience is not idle waiting—it's strategic patience. To build a skyscraper, you must first lay a solid foundation and follow the rules from the start. The same goes for Pi.

In short 📌
The current pace is not a sign of weakness—it's a long-term strategy. PCT chooses to move slowly in the short term to ensure Pi remains stable and sustainable over the next 5-10 years, with unshakable legal and practical value.

Wait for the CLARITY Act to be enacted before promoting DEX; this move shows long-term vision.
