What is a second-hand life? It's using other people's answers to make choices for yourself. Others define value, you follow; algorithms push opinions, you accept; others summarize experiences, you directly copy. It seems like you've acquired a lot of information, but in reality, you've lost the ability to make independent judgments. To break free from a second-hand life, three things are needed: take back your right to experience, gain first-hand knowledge through personal experience; break through the information fence, understand the laws of the world; establish your own judgment system, guide actions with underlying logic rather than fragmented opinions. Others can provide references, but they cannot think for you; a life not verified by yourself is essentially just someone else's life template. True growth is from accepting the world's answers to building your own ability to interpret the world.
