Someone asked me, how do you observe your own inner self? In fact, the true inner self is not found in emotions, but in behaviors. Where you spend your time, where you spend your money, what you persist in over the long term, what you do when under pressure, and the choices you repeatedly make—these are more real than your thoughts. Don't listen to what you say; instead, observe what you keep doing. Behavior does not lie; long-term behavior is the truest vote of your inner self. When you start observing your behavior patterns rather than your emotional fluctuations, you will gradually see yourself more clearly.
