$0.18 ADA, do you dare to buy the dip?
First, look at the chart: weekly line up 25%, volume significantly increased.
Over the past 7 days, a violent rally from the multi-cycle bottom of 0.14-0.15 straight to above 0.18, peaking near 0.20. But in the last two days, it started to pull back, candlestick bodies shrinking, long upper wicks appearing—profit-takers are running, and those chasing highs are left holding the bag.
Market cap of $6.6 billion, ranked 14th. Still down 94% from its all-time high of $3.09.
Call it weak, but it's up 30% in a week. Call it strong, but it hasn't climbed out of the hole from the peak.
First thing: This is not a regular hard fork, it's a "first time"
The Van Rossem hard fork (protocol version 11), the first ever initiated through Voltaire on-chain governance in Cardano's history, not a unilateral decision by IOG. Node readiness above 84%, community voting, on-chain execution—the entire process was completed.
ADA has finally transformed from a "scientist's toy" into a "public chain where coin holders have a say."
Second thing: Fundamentals are "slow and steady," but they really are "slow"
Cardano's label has never been "fast," but "academic rigor + sustainable governance." The Voltaire era is largely implemented, the on-chain DAO decision-making mechanism is functioning well, and Van Rossem is the best example.
From Plutus optimization to the future Leios (aiming for higher TPS), smart contract count and developer activity have been growing steadily through 2026. Low fees, high security, suitable for real-world applications like DeFi, RWA, identity.
Slow and steady is a virtue, but the crypto market can't wait for "steady"—it only recognizes "usable now."
Third thing: Technicals show a "must-watch" signal
Daily/4H: After a steep rally, price is entering a high-level consolidation, candlestick bodies shrinking, long upper wicks appearing, volume expanding then contracting—a classic "surge and retreat, profit-taking exits."
Strong support: 0.17-0.175 (recent pullback low + EMA support)
Short-term resistance: 0.19-0.20 (recent high + 0.618 Fibonacci pressure)
If it holds above 0.20, look at 0.25-0.30. If it can't hold 0.17, back to 0.15 to find a bottom.
Bull vs bear, you decide
On one side:
The first ever on-chain governance hard fork, truly implemented
Weekly line up 30%, volume expanding, trend has turned bullish
Google Cloud staking, ETF expectations, USDC integration rumors
Down 94% from ATH, limited downside, high upside potential
On the other side:
A 94% drop is no joke, massive overhead supply
Ecosystem activity far below ETH/SOL—can "slow" really produce "steady" results? Uncertain
Founder's maxi talk is off the charts—after calling for "BTC $250k," it often drops
If BTC breaks below $60k, ADA will likely be buried with it
Key levels
Resistance above: 0.19-0.20 (bull's lifeline) → 0.23-0.25 → 0.27-0.28 → 0.30+
Support below: 0.17-0.175 → 0.14-0.15 (iron bottom) → 0.10 (last defense)
Mid-line spot:
Accumulation zone: 0.175-0.185 (current area, or wait for pullback)
Stop loss: strictly set below 0.16 (if weekly close loses 0.17, exit)
Target: 0.22-0.25 (sell half) → 0.30+ (hold after hard fork lands)
Position size: no more than 15-20% of total capital, enter in 3-4 batches
Short-term aggressive traders:
If 0.19 breaks with volume, go long
Bounce off 0.17 support to go long
Leverage under 5x, don't be reckless
Risk control:
If BTC breaks below $60k, ADA likely follows, reduce positions first and wait
After hard fork news is priced in, "sell the news" may happen—don't FOMO chase highs
Never go all in, take profits and secure them
If it retests 0.14-0.15, add blindly. That's historical strong support with very high odds.
ADA now looks a lot like XRP at the end of 2020—
Hounded by lawsuits, everyone bashing it, but once the catalyst landed, it doubled in two weeks.
$0.18 ADA, you think it's slow.
$0.30 ADA, will you be chasing to buy?
Remember: Every bull run first shakes off the "slow" ones, then leaves them in the dust.
The Van Rossem hard fork is the most important catalyst for ADA in H2 2026.
Not a pie in the sky, but real implementation. #gStocks代币化股票上线 #Vitalik公布精简以太坊路线图 #SK海力士登陆纳斯达克 $BTC $ETH $ADA
