Ondo Launches BlackRock IVV and Micron Tokenized Securities Under SEC Framework

Ondo Finance launched two tokenized securities tied to BlackRock's IVV ETF and Micron Technology shares on Ethereum on July 2. Ondo said the launch is the first production deployment of the SEC's third-party custodial tokenization model. The Block data put the tokenized equities market at $5.5 billion as of June 8, up about 147% from the start of the year. The product is not yet available to U.S. investors.
