South Africa Releases Draft Regulation for Cross-Border Crypto Assets

ME News, April 24 (UTC+8), the South African Treasury released a draft of the "2026 Capital Flow Management Regulations," proposing recommendations to improve the cross-border capital flow regulatory framework. Among them, it explicitly supplements regulatory provisions for cross-border crypto asset transactions and incorporates them into the overall capital flow management system to enhance high-risk transaction monitoring and combat illegal capital flows.
