Abstract generation in progress
AIMPACT News, April 24 (UTC+8), AI compliance infrastructure startup Iridius completed an $8.6 million seed round on April 24, led by Chalfen Ventures, with participation from Osage Venture Partners, Accenture Ventures, and Rock Yard Ventures. The company builds a "Compliance by Design" enterprise AI platform that embeds compliance as executable logic into AI systems, enabling continuous enforcement of regulated workflows throughout the full lifecycle and automatic evidence generation. Iridius aims to complement rather than replace existing enterprise systems, helping highly regulated companies accelerate workflows, reduce verification overhead, and maintain continuous audit readiness. Team members come from Microsoft, AWS, and OpenAI, with extensive experience in global enterprise AI products and regulated environments. CEO Mike Kropp stated that the core reason AI cannot scale in regulated environments is that compliance is not embedded into how the system operates, and the company is building the infrastructure solution for this.
