ME News, April 24 (UTC+8), U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who calls himself "Secretary of War," said: "The institution that should win the Nobel Peace Prize every year is the U.S. military, because we are not only the guarantors of our own national security, but also the security of many people around the world." Just before Hegseth made this statement, a journalist asked him if ordering a bombing of Iran would give him an adrenaline rush, and his answer was that "his job is to ensure the U.S. military operates with maximum violence."
