#ETH Today's ETH Trading Suggestions

July 5, 2026 (Sunday) ETH current price approx $1780–$1790, weekend low-volume bounce testing $1800–$1810 resistance zone, the larger trend remains bearish, currently viewed as oversold repair. Overall, light positions, do not chase rallies, strict stop-loss.

📊 Key Levels (Intraday)

Direction Level Description
Resistance $1800–$1810 Round number + intraday high, break above sees $1840–$1850
Resistance $1840–$1850 Previous platform resistance
Support $1744–$1760 Intraday low + breakout upper range
Strong Support $1680–$1700 Previous consolidation lower range

💡 Trading Strategy Reference

① Aggressive Short (Top-picking for pullback)

• Entry: $1795–$1810 light short

• Target: $1760 → $1740

• Stop Loss: $1825+

• Logic: $1800 hurdle + 4H slightly overbought, weekend volume insufficient for a clean break

② Dip Long (Follow trend on retracement)

• Entry: $1745–$1765 entry on stabilization

• Target: $1795 → $1810 → $1840

• Stop Loss: $1725-

• Logic: After breaking $1760 range, retracement holds, short-term bias remains bullish

③ Stand Aside

• If directly breaks $1810 with volume → wait for retracement to $1790 before going long

• If breaks below $1740 → bearish bias primarily, no bottom fishing

⚠ Risk Warning

• Weekend liquidity is low, high risk of wicks/slippage, trade with light positions

• Fear and Greed Index at 22 (Extreme Fear), larger time frame moving averages still bearish, do not view as trend reversal

• Above is technical analysis reference, not investment advice, please operate based on your own risk tolerance.

Weekend liquidity is indeed a trap. I got burned by a wick last time, so this time I'd rather watch than chase. The resistance around $1800 is too heavy. I'll wait for a pullback to $1760 and a confirmation before considering going long. A stop loss must be set — better a small loss than a big one.
