🚨 US money supply (M2) hits its highest level in history 👀

The US money supply (M2) rose by $247.8 billion in May to reach $23.1 trillion, the highest level ever 🔥

This is the largest monthly increase since May 2021.

Since the beginning of 2026:

• M2 is up by about $698.6 billion 📈
• This is the biggest increase from January to May in 5 years.
The money supply is now also higher by about:

• $1.3 trillion compared with the previous peak recorded in March 2022.

Since 2000, the US money supply has grown at an average annual rate of 6.3%.

The acceleration in liquidity growth suggests that the amount of money circulating in the US economy continues to rise—an indicator that investors closely monitor for what it may mean for inflation, monetary policy, and stock and crypto markets?
