ME News, July 4 (UTC+8), Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino posted on X platform stating that AI big tech companies are attracting users by subsidizing computing power and continuously investing in high-cost infrastructure and capital expenditures, but the related assets face rapid depreciation pressure of about 3 to 5 years. He pointed out that there are multiple mismatches in the current industry, including mismatches between token prices, profitability timelines, and capital cost maturity; at the same time, open-source AI is also continuously eroding the industry's growing revenue share.
