According to on-chain analyst Specter's monitoring, the UXLINK attacker has deposited all remaining $10.5 million stolen funds into the mixing protocol Tornado Cash. The attacker previously exchanged $10.5 million DAI for approximately 6,000 ETH before completing the transfer. Looking back at September this year, the attacker breached UXLINK's multi-signature wallet and minted billions of UXLINK tokens, ultimately stealing approximately $40 million. With this transfer, the vast majority of stolen funds in this incident have been laundered through Tornado Cash.

6000 ETH can be moved on a whim—does the security of multi-signature wallets really need to be reassessed?

From 40 million to fully laundered, this laundering chain is pretty complete—Specter data can back it up.
