$ARPA For beginners in futures trading, don’t rush to get rich. First, figure out one thing: how to avoid losing it all.
$ETH Lately, people keep asking me—if you only have about 1000U, can you slowly grow it by using low leverage?
$ZKP My take is simple: You don’t need to make money fast. You need to survive long.
Let’s talk about position size: Don’t go all-in with 1000U. I suggest splitting it into 5 parts, 200U each, and only use one part to test at a time.
Set aside the remaining 800U. That’s not being timid—it’s leaving yourself a way out.
Many go full margin on their first move, and one wrong trade leaves them with no chance.
Next, leverage: I recommend staying between 10X and 20X—don’t go higher.
A higher multiple doesn’t amplify gains; it amplifies your emotional swings.
You’re not entering the market to gamble on high or low. You’re entering to stay at the table.
Stop-loss is the hardest part, and also the most important.
Set your stop-loss for every trade beforehand. For example, if you lose 20%–30%, exit decisively. Don’t think about averaging down, holding through, or chasing back.
If you’re wrong, you’re wrong. Stop first. Wait a day or two to look at the charts, and think about where you went wrong.
Once you’ve regrouped, take another portion from the remaining funds and try again.
If you win on a trade, say you’re up 200U unrealized, then transfer half of the profit out to lock it in. Keep trading with the other half plus the original capital.
Lock in your gains—don’t throw it all back into the game.
This method may seem slow, but I’ve seen many people make it through bit by bit with this rhythm.
The vast majority blow up not because the market is extreme, but because they’re too impatient.
They want to double up on their first trade. One wrong direction and their account hits zero.
Remember this: Even if your win rate is 90%, one full-margin mistake ruins everything you earned before.
In the end, futures trading isn’t about who predicts better—it’s about who can take the hits.
You don’t need to be the fastest earner; you need to make sure you don’t get knocked out.
The market always has opportunities, but only if you’re still alive.
