Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs: China firmly opposes the U.S. slander and denigration of China's achievements in the development of the artificial intelligence industry.

ME News reports that on April 24 (UTC+8), in response to remarks by the United States accusing China of “stealing” intellectual property from American AI laboratories, the spokesperson of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Guo Jiakun, said at a regular press conference on the 24th that the U.S. claims are entirely without basis and are slander and smear of China’s achievements in the development of the AI industry. China firmly opposes this. We urge the U.S. to respect facts, discard prejudice, stop technology suppression against China, and do more to facilitate scientific and technological exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
