Walsh's one sentence pulled BTC from 58,000 to 61,000+, liquidating 114k people — short sellers just got crushed, next is real recovery or dead cat bounce?

Opening the chart this morning, I was stunned at first glance.

Last night before bed, BTC was still hovering around 58,800; at dawn I got up and saw it had broken through $61,000, up 4.22% intraday. CoinGlass shows 114k people liquidated across the network in 24 hours — but unlike yesterday, this time the shorts were slaughtered.

The trigger is very clear: Walsh's first public appearance as Fed chair at the ECB's Sintra forum last night, saying "inflation risks are declining." With just that one sentence, the crypto world saw a straight green candle. ETH followed, rising above 1,600, and SOL fought back from 72 to around 76.
