At 3 AM, I saw the mempool clogged up like a parking lot again, and gas fees spiked to three times the usual. My closing order has been stuck in pending for almost twenty minutes. I used to think on-chain data was a god’s-eye view, but now even those label systems often lag behind—sometimes large funds can even deliberately feed false signals. The more I watch, the less I dare to believe everything I see.

Just now, I unfollowed an account that posts “real-time” monitoring every day. It’s not that their data is wrong; it’s that I realized I’m getting more and more dependent on information that someone else has already chewed up for me. I stare at the screen, but I’m not thinking. Forget it—let’s leave it like this for now. I’ll wait until the gas fees come down. After all, people who stay up all night watching charts have the one thing they never run out of: time.
