$PI Rome wasn’t built in a day, and Alibaba and Meituan didn’t become listed companies as soon as they went live. For this project, ten years is too short. Until the very last, who will be able to keep up with the last train—and what motivation lets us catch the last one? I don’t care how great the project is; I only pay for that payment ideal which subverts the future. The reason I add a little each month isn’t that I’m heartbroken over this small amount of money—it’s because investing for the sake of investing is what I do. But always remember: not all investments bring returns. No one can choose 100% correctly, but if you don’t choose, you’ll never get out of your own way—even if you fail, there’s no regret.
