Recently, about 20 chip manufacturers both domestic and international, including Infineon, Texas Instruments, and STMicroelectronics, have collectively initiated a new round of price increases. Power semiconductors are the core category involved in this wave of price hikes, and several manufacturers have already announced price adjustments this year.

Infineon is the world's largest power semiconductor manufacturer.
On June 30, Infineon's Global Senior Vice President and President of Greater China, Pan Dawei, responded to the new round of price increases at the company's Media Day, stating: "This price increase is mainly due to factors such as rising costs, for example, the increase in raw material prices."
The strong demand for power semiconductors is largely driven by AI, especially the surging demand for electricity in AI data centers.
