ME News, June 30 (UTC+8), Argot Collective completed the last grant of a five-year funding agreement with the Ethereum Foundation, amounting to 4,938 stETH. Argot Collective is formed by approximately 25 former Ethereum Foundation developers/researchers, aiming to maintain the core infrastructure of Ethereum in the long term, especially the Solidity compiler and related programming languages and toolchains. In July 2025, Argot Collective signed an agreement with the Ethereum Foundation, which provided initial operational funding for a period of 5 years. The funds are provided in the form of ETH or stETH, with a gradual unlocking mechanism designed to ensure continuous operation while encouraging diversified investments. Today, the Ethereum Foundation's purpose of staking ETH with Lido is to provide funds to Argot Collective. (Source: Foresight News)
