StarkWare releases Starknet's three-phase post-quantum roadmap, planning to gradually remove remaining elliptic curve cryptography dependencies, introduce post-quantum signature schemes such as Falcon-512, and provide migration tools for existing contracts. StarkWare states that Starknet's hash-based STARK zero-knowledge proofs are inherently quantum-resistant, and major network upgrades are expected to be completed within months, but cross-chain bridges, Blob data availability, etc., still need to wait for Ethereum to complete its post-quantum migration. StarkWare CEO Eli Ben-Sasson says that the post-quantum cryptographic tools currently needed are already available, and future risks stem more from the industry's failure to complete migration in time rather than technical limitations.
