Ronin will migrate to Ethereum Layer 2 on May 12, during which the mainnet will be down for approximately 10 hours.

ME News, April 23 (UTC+8), the gaming blockchain Ronin will migrate from an Ethereum sidechain to Ethereum Layer 2 on May 12. This migration will be triggered at block height 55,577,490, at which point Ronin will transition to the OP Stack. During the migration, the mainnet will be down for approximately 10 hours, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM Eastern Time, and games may be temporarily inaccessible. After the migration, the RON token inflation rate will drop from over 20% to below 1%, market fees will increase from 0.5% to 1.25%, and the previously staked 90 million RON will be redistributed to the Ronin treasury. At the same time, a "Proof of Allocation" system will be launched to automatically distribute RON rewards to developers. (Source: PANews)
