Lighter completes L2 escape mechanism verification, users can still withdraw to mainnet when the sequencer fails.

ME News: On May 20 (UTC+8), Lighter official posted on X stating that it has completed the escape mechanism verification conducted by third-party L2BEAT. This means that even if the sequencer at the L2 layer fails, users can permissionlessly withdraw funds from Lighter's L2 back to Ethereum, making it the first L2 Perp DEX in the industry to achieve this function.
