ME News, on April 22 (UTC+8), OP Labs announced the launch of its privacy product Privacy Boost, initially deployed on the OP mainnet (formerly Optimism). It aims to attract more enterprises into the Ethereum ecosystem. As a software development kit and API interface, the product supports private transfers and careful interaction with DeFi applications, while also meeting regulatory requirements. Privacy Boost supports self-custody via zero-knowledge proofs and uses trusted execution environments to enable fast private transactions. It can be tailored according to enterprise KYC rules and audit requirements. OP Labs co-founder said that compliance issues have long blocked traditional financial institutions from going on-chain, and that privacy is not an optional feature but a prerequisite for mainstream adoption. Privacy Boost is expected to expand to more blockchains in the coming weeks. (Source: PANews)
