BlockBeats News, June 17 — According to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, U.S. Representative Barry Moore, who has received Trump’s endorsement and support from the crypto industry, has won the Republican primary runoff for the federal Senate seat in Alabama, defeating his opponent Jared Hudson.

The crypto industry political action committee Fairshake invested more than $12 million in this election. After Barry Moore’s victory, Fairshake said in a statement that its “largest-ever spending in this election cycle once again helped a candidate who supports innovation enter the Senate.”

Fairshake also said that the organization currently still holds nearly $150 million in cash reserves and will continue pushing for the establishment of the “largest pro-crypto caucus in history.”
