Bank of America Survey: Most Investors Expect the Federal Reserve to Remain Hawkish and Steady

Golden Finance reports that on June 16, a Bank of America June Global Fund Manager Survey shows that investors generally expect the U.S. Federal Reserve to keep interest rates unchanged on Wednesday. About 55% of investors expect a “slightly hawkish hold,” meaning rates remain steady, and the newly appointed Fed chair, Worsh, has hinted that higher interest rates will be maintained for a longer period. 33% of investors expect a “slightly dovish hold,” meaning Worsh is open to further rate cuts.
