Deep Tide TechFlow news: On June 17, according to New York magazine, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) is currently being held at the Federal Prison in Lompoc, California, serving a 25-year sentence for fraud and conspiracy. It is reported that SBF speaks with reporters once or twice a week, cooperatively, and steadfastly insists on his innocence while continuing to argue his case. In prison, he is still taking medication to treat depression and ADHD, follows a vegetarian diet, refuses to eat in the prison cafeteria, and handles his meals by relying on items from the prison shop.

The article states that SBF claims he suffers from “anhedonia,” meaning an inability to feel pleasure, but when communicating with the outside world he still maintains his usual upbeat attitude. Notably, when fellow inmate David Bunevacz asked about his plans after release, SBF said that to make big money, he would first need startup capital of between 50 million and 100 million dollars to build a real business, and he publicly declared that after his release he will issue his own new token (“start my own coin”).
