Ripple acquires a partial stake in African fintech company Flutterwave

Golden Finance reports that on June 16th, African fintech company Flutterwave sold a portion of its shares to blockchain company Ripple, and after the transaction, the company's valuation reached $3.3 billion. Flutterwave CEO Olugbenga Agboola stated that the partnership aims to accelerate company growth through payment business expansion and strategic cooperation, but did not disclose Ripple's investment amount or shareholding percentage. Flutterwave is currently operating in 35 African countries.
