BlockBeats News, June 17 — The Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Wray, announced Tuesday that the FBI successfully thwarted a coordinated terror plot against the White House. The plan was originally scheduled to be carried out during President Trump's 80th birthday celebration and the UFC "Freedom 250" fighting event on June 14, on the South Lawn of the White House, with approximately 4,300 people present, including 1,200 active-duty military personnel.

According to disclosures, the conspiracy was carried out in three phases: the first phase involved drone attacks loaded with explosives targeting buildings around the White House to create widespread chaos; the second phase used panic to trigger a large-scale evacuation of the crowd, guiding the fleeing people into a pre-designated area, where snipers waiting there would open fire; the third phase involved a surprise attack on the White House entrance amid the chaos.

The plot was foiled in a timely manner thanks to a relative of an involved individual who proactively alerted authorities. The FBI quickly identified the threat on June 10 — four days before the incident — and traced it to an informal network operating through encrypted Signal communications software. It has been confirmed that 23 individuals are involved in this network, with five suspects already apprehended in Ohio, Missouri, and California.

U.S. Secret Service Director James Murray stated that the Secret Service is working around the clock to track all involved persons. President Trump himself, speaking to reporters on Tuesday during the G7 summit in France, said he has not yet received an official briefing on the thwarted plot.
