Abstract generation in progress
Gold House Finance reported that on June 17, U.S. President Trump said locally on June 16 in France, while attending the Group of Seven (G7) summit, that the negotiations over the U.S.-Iran agreement have entered the second stage and that progress is expected to be smoother. Although Trump repeatedly emphasized that the United States will not provide Iran with financial support, it was disclosed that, in order to reach the earlier memorandum of understanding and to sign the final agreement, Iran will receive multiple economic incentives. Trump said that day that the United States and Iran have successfully signed the memorandum of understanding online, that the U.S.-Iran agreement negotiations have entered the second stage, and that he believes, “this should be easier than the first stage.” Trump also said that a press conference will be held to formally release the text of the memorandum of understanding and submit it to the U.S. Congress for deliberation. Trump emphasized, “The text clearly stipulates that Iran will not possess nuclear weapons,” which is also the core red line; otherwise, it will suffer devastating blows from the United States, and the United States will not provide any financial support to Iran.
