I didn’t come into crypto out of curiosity or excitement.

Life gently pushed me toward new decisions. That’s how I ended up here — in a world where you have to learn fast, accept risk, and grow up much quicker than you planned.

At first, everything felt unfamiliar and chaotic. A lot of emotions, very little understanding, and the belief that I would “figure it out along the way.”

Sometimes it actually worked. There was a moment when my profit grew almost 5x — and I started thinking I was finally beginning to understand the market.

But the market quickly showed me another side.

I still remember my first serious drawdowns. Not just numbers on a screen — but the feeling of watching your confidence fall together with the chart.

Liquidations became my toughest, but also my most honest teacher.

There were many moments when I wanted to stop.

And one of them I remember clearly.

After another losing trade, I messaged someone who had been in crypto for a long time:

— “I don’t think I’m made for this. It’s either luck or big money here. There’s no stability.”

He replied very simply:

— “You don’t find stability here. You build it. And usually — through losses.”

I didn’t fully understand it back then.

Now I do.

My mistakes were typical for a beginner:

— no clear system;
— emotional entries;
— trying to “win back losses”;
— ignoring risk management;
— overconfidence in a single scenario.

The hardest part was not the losses themselves.

It was my internal state after them.

With time, different thoughts started to form.

And now I often remember phrases that became anchors for me:

📉 “A loss is not failure. It’s the price of data.”
🧠 “You don’t need to beat the market. You need to understand it.”
⛔ “Your first protection is not profit — it’s risk control.”
📊 “One solid strategy is worth more than a hundred emotional trades.”

I met people who went through a similar path.

Those who once also lost everything and started over, but didn’t quit. And over time, they became the calmest and most confident traders in the market.

Now I’m not in a hurry anymore.

I’m learning:
— to enter with a clear mind;
— to exit without emotions;
— to accept losses calmly;
— to never risk more than common sense allows.

Crypto is no longer just a market for me.

It’s a process. It’s experience. It’s a path that changes you from within.

And despite all the mistakes — I didn’t stop.

I keep learning.

And I’m grateful to Gate for this journey, for the opportunity to grow and become stronger in real market conditions.
