An Israeli source revealed that Israel had requested the United States to provide the text of the US-Iran understanding memorandum for review, but was refused. The source said that one of the reasons the US declined Israel's request was that the Trump administration "was worried that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu would leak the contents of the memorandum before it was officially announced." Netanyahu held a press conference on the evening of June 15 local time, and in his opening remarks, he almost did not mention the memorandum. During the subsequent Q&A session, he stated that he and Trump "do not always see eye to eye." He also said, "We still do not know what this memorandum actually is." (CCTV International News)
