Equatorial Guinea government collectively resigns

On the 16th local time, Equatorial Guinea Vice President Teodoro Obiang Mangu announced that the government has officially resigned due to failure to achieve set policy goals. Mangu stated in a statement that this resignation aims to pave the way for forming a new government team to improve administrative efficiency and accelerate the implementation of national development plans. He emphasized that government departments need to further improve their performance and respond more effectively to the country's economic and social development needs. Currently, Equatorial Guinea has not yet announced the list of new cabinet members or a specific timetable for forming the new government. (CCTV News)
