BlackRock asset manager launched the iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF (BITA) on Nasdaq. The Bitcoin ETF combines exposure to the spot price of the coin with active covered call option selling. In this way, BITA mirrors the performance of the underlying asset while generating premium income. In the product description, it is referred to as “a tool for monthly income that reflects a significant portion of Bitcoin’s growth with potentially lower volatility.”
