African payments infrastructure company Flutterwave announces strategic investment from Ripple, as part of its Series E funding, with the company's valuation reaching $3.2 billion. The two parties will integrate RLUSD, XRPL, and Ripple Payments into Flutterwave's payment infrastructure to promote stablecoin settlement, cross-border remittances, and enterprise payments in the African market. Flutterwave has processed over $50 billion in total transactions.
