Wu learned that BlackRock's Global Chief Investment Officer for Fixed Income, Rick Rieder, stated in an interview that he expects Bitcoin to eventually rise significantly. Currently, he holds a small amount of Bitcoin through some mutual funds but has not increased his Bitcoin allocation because assets like technology stocks and emerging market bonds present more attractive opportunities. Rieder is one of the early executives within BlackRock to support Bitcoin.
