Most blockchains are scrambling to add post-quantum security after the fact.
I've been digging into @quipnetwork for a while now, and the approach feels different.
Instead of building a new chain and asking users to migrate, they're focused on wrapping existing assets on EVM and Solana using WOTS+ cryptography.
Your assets stay where they are.
No bridges.
No migration risk.
What really caught my attention was how they frame the risk.
Quip estimates roughly a 10% probability of a cryptographically relevant quantum computer by March 2028.
That's not fear marketing. It's a projection based on publicly available hardware progress and research.
For anyone holding meaningful assets on-chain, 10% isn't a number you simply ignore.
The testnet went live on April 2nd.
More than 13,000 researchers have already joined, and multiple teams are actively contributing.
It's still early, but the architecture makes sense.
More importantly, the team isn't hiding behind vague promises.
The codebase is open source, transparent, and available for anyone to inspect.
Definitely one worth keeping an eye on. 👀
