CryptoWorld News reports that inco has announced the launch of its confidential application development platform, inco lightning, on the Base mainnet. The platform allows developers to build confidential applications on existing EVM chains without having to learn a new language or deploy a new chain—only by introducing encrypted data types via Solidity, enabling private state processing on-chain. inco lightning supports encrypted data types, confidential computing, encrypted random numbers, programmable access control, decryption and re-encryption, and a JavaScript SDK, among other features, and is suitable for scenarios such as on-chain gaming, blind auctions, lotteries, compliant disclosures, and privacy scoring.

Compliance disclosure is a delicate point; it needs to satisfy regulators while protecting business data, and finding the right balance is challenging.

JavaScript SDKs are now available, making it much easier for the frontend to get started. Planning to build a demo this weekend to try it out.

The native encryption types in Solidity are so cleverly designed that privacy can be achieved without switching chains, maximizing friendliness for existing developers.
