Long position fully closed, then immediately reversed to short, all returned to zero after 10 seconds
HYPEUSDT, short position, -98.43%, liquidation price 44.284.
The starting point of this loss was the long position that exploded 10 seconds ago.
After the long was liquidated, the price kept dropping.
I thought: the trend is down, so I reversed to short!
Entered immediately, without even setting a stop-loss.
As a result, the price hit the bottom and then rebounded instantly.
The short position was wiped out instantly.
Both long and short positions exploded, only 10 seconds apart.
Where's the problem?
It's not that I saw the wrong direction, but that I misjudged the rhythm. After liquidation, emotions took over, and only three words remained in my mind: recover, recover, recover.
I didn't consider whether this drop was enough, didn't think about rebound risks, didn't think about stop-loss.
The market mainly punishes two types of people: those who dare not enter, and those who rush to reverse immediately after liquidation.
This loss was on the last position, not much money.
But the lesson is: after liquidation, turn off the screen, wait for your heartbeat to stabilize before coming back.
If you can't do that, don't talk about trading discipline.
