Abstract generation in progress

According to Beating Monitoring, xAI has launched the terminal control panel Agent Dashboard for the software engineering coding agent Grok Build. Developers can bring up the panel by entering the slash command /dashboard in an existing coding session or by using the shortcut Ctrl+\ , or they can simply run grok dashboard in the terminal to start it.

The panel uses a terminal-based, card-style interactive interface and supports centralized monitoring and management of multiple parallel Grok Build coding sessions within a single screen. The view categorizes all active, idle, and waiting-for-input states, and records the duration of each task.

To address synchronization blocking in multi-agent collaboration, when a sub-agent requires manual confirmation or has a question to ask, the associated session is automatically pinned to the top. Developers can preview the latest output of sub-tasks and reply directly in the panel, without frequently switching terminal windows. The panel also supports grouping tasks by working directory with the Ctrl+S shortcut, and collapsing sub-agents under the main task.
