🚨China is spending $295 billion on AI. India is spending $1.09 billion. This is not a funding gap. It is a vision gap.

China is outspending India on AI by 270 times. Not 2x. Not 10x. Two hundred and seventy times.
The government's intentions may be genuine. The branding certainly is "Transforming India with AI" is a fine headline. But headlines don't train models. Budgets do. And this one, by any honest measure, doesn't match the moment.
The talent in India was never the problem. The budget always was. At some point, potential without investment is just another word for missed opportunity.
