Deep Tide TechFlow news. On June 16, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian hosted a regular press conference. A reporter asked about the first-phase memorandum of understanding reached between Iran and the United States (as well as) the issues concerning navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. Lin Jian said that China has noted the first-phase memorandum of understanding already reached between Iran and the United States, which includes reopening the strait and other contents. The Strait of Hormuz is a strait used for international navigation. Restoring safe and free passage through the strait as soon as possible is in the interests of all parties. China is willing to keep communication with relevant countries and the international community on this matter. China will continue to do its utmost to safeguard the safety of Chinese-funded vessels and Chinese crews. (Jin10)
