Deep Tide TechFlow News, June 16th, according to CoinTelegraph reports, the U.S. government has demanded that Anthropic suspend access to its Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models for foreign users on grounds of national security. Anthropic immediately shut down the aforementioned models for all users. Grayscale research head Zach Pandl pointed out that this incident highlights the control risks of centralized AI and will drive the continued rise in demand for decentralized AI. Within 12 hours of the news release, Bittensor's TAO token price increased by 30%, reaching a three-week high of $283. Pandl described Bittensor as "the Bitcoin of the AI field," believing its decentralized architecture can provide users with unregulated access to AI resources. EdgeRunner AI co-founder Colton Malkerson warned that long-term reliance on large AI labs is like "renting intelligence," and faces the risk of being cut off at any time; tech entrepreneur Brett Hurt also stated that this incident sets a dangerous precedent for government intervention in AI business models.
